SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide targeted support for pupils with SEMH needs
  • Work confidently with male students and build positive working relationships
  • Use strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm learning environment
  • Support learning activities and help reinforce key lesson content
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff
  • Assist with personalised learning plans and emotional regulation strategies
  • Promote positive engagement, resilience, and routine
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare
