SEND Teaching Assistants – Full-time, long-term and ongoing, starting ASAP

These opportunities are ideal for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs in primary school settings. You will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:

Support pupils with SEND needs in a primary classroom setting
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils achieve learning goals
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Prepare and adapt resources to meet individual needs
Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the teacher
Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
Experience working in a primary school setting
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND needs
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Strong communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
