Spanish Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a qualified Spanish Teacher for a contract position which has become available in one of our favourite Barnet schools. This is a part-time, contract position through Step Teachers' Agency and applications are welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers in addition to those with more experience. The position of this Spanish Teacher is due to commence in April 2019.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have QTS or QTLS in Spanish with French to KS5
- Your excellent classroom management strategies will be robust and flexible and will be seen as central to the performance of you and your pupils
- Experience of teaching classes with 30 pupils would be a definite advantage
- The successful Spanish teacher should have previously held at least one mainstream teaching position
The School is a popular, oversubscribed, larger than average mixed comprehensive school. This is an inclusive school, it puts the needs of students' first at all times and has a special provision for pupils on the autistic spectrum. The proportion of students known to be eligible for free school meals is below the national average and most students are of White British heritage. A higher than average proportion of students have joined the sixth form and will go on to further education.
