Job description

Class Act are currently looking for a Supply Teacher for a General Cover role in a Secondary School in Witney. The position does not include planning or marking and the school are looking for a Supply Teacher, starting in June until the end of term. It is a 3 day per week part time role, with the days being Wednesday to Friday.

Role of a Supply Teacher:

  • To lead a class as a Supply Teacher and keep students on task
  • Able to deliver lesson's across the curriculum which are pre-planned by the timetabled teacher
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
  • Work effectively with other members of staff
  • Comply with and implement the schools’ policies effectively

Requirements of Supply Teacher:

  • Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification to teach at Secondary School
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Secondary School
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • Experience working with SEND is desirable
