Job description

Step Teachers have been asked by an Ofsted rated school of ‘Good’ status in North London to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Long Term Supply Teacher for a full-time position set to commence in February 2019 and finish at the end of the academic year. This position as a Primary Supply Teacher is exclusive to Step Teachers with one of our key partner schools.

There will be a two to three weeks handover period before the Supply Teacher is solely responsible for the class. Providing the candidate applying for this position would be prepared to take on the full role including report writing etc.

The School has asked for a proficient KS2 Teacher (Year 5) who has the following attributes:

  • Either a QTS or PGCE Certificate, with KS2 work experience in a mainstream Primary.
  • The candidate must have the ability to build excellent relationships with pupils quickly.
  • The candidate must be committed to dedicate them self to the time frame of this Long Term position.
  • Has a stimulating creative teaching technique for young pupils with positive results.
  • The chosen candidate must also have the ability to execute the role by the end of the handover period.
