Job description

We are working with a SEN school in Peterborough who are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join their team.  The Small classes within this school mean their teachers get to know the needs of all individuals in their care which gives scope to plan the curriculum accordingly. The students are well motivated and eager to learn with excellent levels of attendance. Student outcomes in English are outstanding, and the subject is well established across all key stages.

This position would suit a primary trained teacher, a secondary teacher or a specialist SEND teacher. The substantive teaching will be English. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and will have the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners.

The Successful Candidate Will Be;

  • Committed to the inclusion of students with special educational needs
  • A highly motivated and effective classroom practitioner
  • Creative and innovative, with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • A teacher who is able to motivate, lead, support and challenge students to be successful
