Job description

We are looking for a qualified History teacher for a short term position starting as soon as possible. This is a  full-time position through Step Teachers is offered on an ongoing basis. 

This is a large mixed comprehensive academy with high aspirations for everyone who is part of the community whether student or member of staff. About the History Teacher

  • You will be a fully qualified History Teacher with a related degree, a PGCE with QTS
  • At the heart of everything you do, will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel 
  • You will have schemes of work that are creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression.
  • You should understand the value of target setting as an aid to raising standards and improving attainment and achievement

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
