Step Teachers have been asked to recruit a History Teacher for our client school in Croydon who are looking for a History Teacher for a full-time position, teaching up to Key Stage 4, the ability to teach to A Level would be a plus. This is a permanent post starting in September 2020 however due to current circumstances the school is happy to interview remotely as soon as possible. The school are happy to consider NQT's as well as more experienced teachers as they have an excellent CPD programme on offer.
The ideal History Teacher:
- You will have a PGCE and QTS as well as History related undergraduate degree
- Demonstrable experience delivering GCSE History according to the UK Curriculum, previous experience delivering A level would be a bonus
- You should have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning, demonstrating the ability to incorporate national trends and data sets into your approach
- At the heart of everything you do will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to exceed expectations
