A primary school in Thetford has an opportunity for a teaching assistant to join their team, working with a young student who requires extra support.  This will also be a mentoring role where you will provide guidance and be a supportive figure for the learner.  

The position is offered until the end of the summer term on a full-time basis.  The role will involve working as a Teaching Assistant on a 1-to-1 basis.

• It is expected that the successful candidate will not only have relevant primary experience, but also a Teaching Assistant qualification​
• The successful candidate will be able to differentiate to students of varying abilities effectively, making sure that all pupils feel valued and included
• You will have experience working in a mainstream school as a Teaching Assistant.
• The successful Teaching Assistant will be engaging, enthusiastic, and motivating to their pupils.

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
