Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children reach their full potential and thrive in their learning journey. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

• Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials.

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need extra help.

• Encourage positive behaviour and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

• Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities when required.

• Help assess and track pupils’ progress under the direction of the teacher.

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children’s learning.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
