Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about helping children learn, grow, and achieve their best. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective learning activities.

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who require additional help.

• Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.

• Support the development of pupils’ social and emotional skills.

• Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

• Supervise pupils during break and lunch times when required.

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children (school-based experience is desirable).

• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills as a Teaching Assistant.

• Ability to work well in a team.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
