Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Progress Coach) to join a team from October 2025. You will support students’ academic progress, personal development, and well-being, working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help every pupil reach their potential.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Support students’ learning in the classroom through targeted interventions and one-to-one or small group support.

• Help monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and guidance.

• Mentor and coach students to develop study skills, motivation, and resilience.

• Assist in planning and delivering enrichment or support sessions.

• Contribute to the positive behaviour and well-being of students, working collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams.

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.

• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.

• Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities.

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
