Teaching Assistant – Daily supply from as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings in Wantage and the surrounding areas.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in both classroom and small group settings
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
Provide tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs
Promote inclusive practice and encourage pupil independence
Help maintain a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments and reviews

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

Has recent experience working in a primary school setting
Demonstrates a good understanding of the primary curriculum and child development
Is patient, adaptable and confident supporting pupils of varying abilities
Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
