Job description

Teaching Assistants – Full-time and Part-time roles available

We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools in Finchley and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact in different school settings.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils
  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
