The position of Textiles teacher is to cover a vacancy within the department and is offered from April. As a Textiles teacher you would become part of a dynamic and aspirational school that is striving to encourage all pupils to reach their highest potential possible.

The Textiles teacher that is successful will adhere to the following;

• The appointed Textiles teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
• You should have a teaching qualification and a Textiles based degree.
• It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching Textiles.
• The school are happy to consider outstanding Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) but suggest that the role might be better suited to secondary teachers with experience across the curriculum.
