Year 2/3 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 2/3 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire pupils at a key point in their primary education, helping them to build strong foundations for future learning. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 and lower KS2 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages all pupils to achieve their best.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching to meet varying needs.
Maintain excellent classroom management and build positive relationships with pupils and families.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, clubs, and events.
Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in KS1 and/or lower KS2 is desirable.
Good knowledge of the Year 2 and Year 3 curriculum, including phonics, early literacy, and numeracy.
Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.
A nurturing, positive, and adaptable approach to teaching.
