Year 4 Class Teacher

Are you an experienced and dedicated educator with a passion for preparing students for success? Step Teachers are working with a 'Good' Ofsted-rated school in Walthamstow in search of a year 4 class teacher to start in January. This school is proud to be a Rights Respecting School and places the Rights of a Child at a top priority.

The role is full-time, starting in January 2024 an continuing for one academic term.

Role:

• Strong knowledge of the curriculum in at Key Stage 2
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
• Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
• Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or equivalent 
• Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• Holding a valid DBS that is on the update service is desirable
