Year 5 Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a dedicated team at a vibrant school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional who is ready to inspire and engage pupils in upper Key Stage 2. Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
Deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 5.
Prepare pupils for transition into Year 6 with strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and independent learning.
Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK.
A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly for Year 5.
High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a Year 5 Teacher.
A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement.
