Job description

We are urgently seeking to recruit a Year 5 teacher for a contract position in one of our exclusive partner schools in the Tottenham area. The role of a Year 5 teacher is set to commence in April and will be a temporary contract position in the first instance.

  • The school are happy to consider an outstanding Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) but suggest that the role might be better suited to Year 5 primary teachers with experience across the curriculum.
  • As a qualified Year 5 primary teacher you should be a creative and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to use all available resources to their full extent.
  • As a qualified Year 5 primary teacher you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development.
  • You should have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning, demonstrating the ability to incorporate national trends and data sets into your approach.

This is a very good primary school which has shown amazing improvement in outcomes and behaviour over the last 4 years. Our supply teachers who visit this school tell us that the staff are really friendly and supportive and we have recently placed two teachers at the school into permanent contracts. The School was rated as ‘very good’ by Ofsted.
