Are you a Y6 teacher looking for a long-term teaching role in Thetford?
Our team is working with a primary school in Thetford that is seeking a year 6 teacher to cover a teacher on Maternity Leave. You will be needed to form relationships quickly with children who may be unsettled due to the change of routines and be able to commit to a long-term teaching position 5 days per week.
This will be a full-time teaching role and planning and marking will be required. Initially, a temporary post this position may become permanent for the right candidate. This post is only suitable for an experienced teacher, as the successful candidate will be working with a SCITT student.

Our ideal teacher will;
- Have QTS with KS2 work experience in a mainstream Primary
- Be able to work towards targets, meet deadlines and work closely with SLT to achieve results
- Have a strong knowledge of curriculums and strategies for improving and achieving high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement for all pupils
- Work closely with staff and parents alike to achieve the best outcome for pupils
- Be able to work well under pressure in sometimes challenging environments
