Job description

We are working with a very friendly and welcoming primary school in Barnet to source an experienced and highly qualified Primary Teacher – Year 6. The role of a Year 6 primary teacher is to commence in April and is on a temporary basis. The selected Year 6 primary teacher will be suited to inclusive and diversity as an approach to education.

The selected Year 6 primary teacher must be cohesive with attributes below;

  • Highly effective communication skills with both children and adults, including parents/carers is seen as a key area of focus.
  • You should have an ability to identify, focus on and work towards achieving key objectives.
  • The successful candidate will have ability to develop, foster and sustain high quality relationships with children and adults.
  • You should exhibit highly effective time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines and work under sustained pressure.

This is a school which has undergone massive changes in recent years and is rapidly developing into a fantastic teaching environment. The cohort are from a range of backgrounds and have a diverse level of ability on entry, with the vast majority achieving expected progression or above. The SMT are deeply involved with the development of teaching and learning and are highly supportive of all staff at all levels.
