Art Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to inspire and engage students in developing their artistic skills and appreciation for the visual arts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and contribute to a vibrant, creative learning environment. Beginning November 2025.
Duties as Art Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages [specify KS3/KS4/KS5] in line with the curriculum.
Foster creativity and self-expression through a variety of media, techniques, and art forms.
Prepare students for assessments and examinations, ensuring high standards of achievement.
Organise and contribute to exhibitions, workshops, and art-related school events.
Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
Ideal Art Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A strong subject knowledge in Art, with the ability to teach a range of artistic disciplines (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art).
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as Art Teacher.
Passion for encouraging creativity and supporting students of all abilities.
