Art Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary cover from January 2026 until the end of the academic year

This full-time Art Teacher role begins in January 2026 and offers long-term temporary cover through to the end of the academic year. Duties as Art Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
Inspire creativity and critical thinking through a range of artistic media
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and resources
Support extracurricular activities and school-wide creative initiatives
Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning

Ideal Art Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Art in secondary schools
Strong subject knowledge and passion for the arts
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an Art Teacher
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic about inspiring young artists
