​Step Teachers are working with a secondary school in the Breckland District who are seeking a strong Art Teacher to join their department. This position is available on a full-time basis from April 2023 and is available on a maternity cover basis.

The school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school that has been praised for its focus on getting the behaviour right in the school. The lessons and curriculum are planned to ensure pupils deepen their thinking and the curriculum is more effective. The trust is supportive and ensures that the leaders have the resources they need.

Role:

• Strong curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based teaching experience

• A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
