Art Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary cover from January 2026 until July 2026

Duties as Art Teacher:

Deliver engaging Art lessons that inspire creativity and meet curriculum requirements
Use pre-prepared plans to deliver lessons effectively
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning

Ideal Art Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Strong subject knowledge in Art across Key Stages
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Previous experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting is desirable
