Art Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from February 2026 until June 2026

Duties as Art Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across relevant year groups
- Support pupils in developing creative skills and practical techniques
- Prepare materials and maintain a safe environment for practical work
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs
- Contribute to collaborative departmental planning
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain consistent routines
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Art Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Art
- Strong subject knowledge in both practical and theory‑based Art
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to inspire creativity and motivate pupils of all abilities
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reflective, proactive, and dedicated to supporting pupil progress
- Commitment to safeguarding and enhancing pupil well‑being
