Art Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from February 2026 until June 2026

Duties as Art Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across relevant year groups
Support pupils in developing creative skills and practical techniques
Prepare materials and maintain a safe environment for practical work
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs
Contribute to collaborative departmental planning
Promote positive behaviour and maintain consistent routines
Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Art Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Art
Strong subject knowledge in both practical and theory‑based Art
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to inspire creativity and motivate pupils of all abilities
Good communication and organisational skills
Reflective, proactive, and dedicated to supporting pupil progress
Commitment to safeguarding and enhancing pupil well‑being
