Behaviour Officer – Full-time, Temp to Perm, Starting January 2026

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Behaviour Officer to join a school that fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment. Duties as Behaviour Officer:

Implement and monitor behaviour management strategies across the school
Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs to engage positively in learning
Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to promote a consistent approach
Develop and maintain behaviour plans and intervention programmes
Provide guidance and support to staff on managing challenging behaviour
Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure effective communication and support
Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding procedures

Ideal Behaviour Officer:

Previous experience in a behaviour management or pastoral role within a school setting
Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Flexible, resilient, and committed to promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
