Biology Teacher – Part-time, temporary, long-term position starting January 2026

Duties as Biology Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4
Prepare pupils for assessments and examinations
Monitor and report on pupil progress
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
Maintain accurate records and contribute to departmental planning
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies

Ideal Biology Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Biology at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Committed to pupil progress and achievement
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Biology Teacher
Able to work effectively as part of a team
