Biology Teacher – Part-time, temporary, long-term position starting January 2026
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Biology Teacher seeking a part-time role in a school that values high standards and pupil development. Duties as Biology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Prepare pupils for assessments and examinations
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to departmental planning
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies
Ideal Biology Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Biology at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Committed to pupil progress and achievement
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Biology Teacher
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
