Business Studies Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 4 and, where applicable, Key Stage 5. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Business Studies Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Business Studies that support strong pupil progress.
Teach across a range of qualifications, including GCSE and A-Level or equivalent.
Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the department and school.
Encourage enterprise, critical thinking, and a real-world understanding of business concepts.
Ideal Business Studies Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Business Studies.
Ability to teach Business Studies to GCSE level (A-Level desirable).
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Business Studies Teacher.
A commitment to high standards, ongoing professional development, and student success.
