Step Teachers have been asked by a lovely Secondary School in South West London to recruit a Business Studies Teacher for a permanent position set to begin in September 2020. This position is exclusive to Step Teachers with one of our key partner schools. Due to current circumstances the school understands the challenges surrounding their recruitment and will be willing to recruit via remote interview:
- You should have a Degree in Business or Finance and have QTS Status
- It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching Business Studies to A Level
- The school are happy to consider outstanding NQTs but suggest that the role might be better suited to Business Studies teachers with experience across the curriculum
- Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice
Drawing its pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds, pupil progression beyond the national average is a key focus of every member of the team. The Head Teacher, the senior team and the governors lead the school outstandingly well, ensuring that both teaching and achievement are of the highest standard. The tracking of pupils’ learning and progress is accurate, consistent and rigorous. Staff satisfaction is central to the ethos of the School, and this is demonstrated by the very low rate of staff turnover and outstanding opportunities for professional development.
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK. Step Teachers are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
