Cover Supervisor

We are looking for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is considering a future in teaching or has experience working with young people in a school setting. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers

• Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement

• Assist with administrative tasks and support across the school as needed

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school environment

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills as a Cover Supervisor

• Confidence in leading a classroom and ensuring a positive learning environment

• Flexibility, resilience, and a professional attitude

• A genuine interest in supporting the education and well-being of students
