The Role of a Design and Technology Teacher:

  • Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology Curriculum
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialization in Design and Technology or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
