Job description
We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join a school on a permanent basis starting in November 2025.
Children are warmly welcomed into a nurturing environment where they explore engaging activities and build strong relationships with staff. Independence is encouraged through well-established routines, and a broad, stimulating curriculum supports their development. Staff are caring and attentive, helping children feel safe, included, and excited to learn.
Duties as an Early Years Practitioner:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development through play and interaction
- Observe and record children’s progress to inform planning and assessment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each child
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment
- Follow all safeguarding and health and safety procedures
Ideal Early Years Practitioner:
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills are required as an Early Years Practitioner.
