Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply across Hoddesdon and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils across a range of year groups and abilities, helping to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Provide one-to-one and small group support as required
Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions
Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

Relevant experience supporting children in school settings
Understanding of the national curriculum and classroom routines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
A positive, proactive, and patient approach to supporting pupils
