Early Years Practitioner – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different nursery and school settings.

Duties as Early Years Practitioner:

Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5
Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals
Support children with personal care routines and hygiene
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development
Maintain a clean, organised, and inclusive learning space

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education)
Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings
A warm, caring, and patient approach to supporting young children
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A flexible and proactive attitude to working across different settings
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
