Photography/Art Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role from April 2026 until October half term, four days per week

Duties as Photography/Art Teacher:

  • Teach Photography and Art four days a week across relevant year groups
  • Deliver creative practical and theory‑based lessons in line with curriculum expectations
  • Support pupils in developing confidence, technical skill, and artistic understanding
  • Maintain a safe and well‑organised classroom or studio environment
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
  • Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Photography/Art Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Photography and/or Art
  • Confident delivering practical and technical skills safely and effectively
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management
  • Creative, organised, and able to motivate pupils of mixed abilities
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and supporting pupil well‑being
