Photography/Art Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role from April 2026 until October half term, four days per week

Duties as Photography/Art Teacher:

Teach Photography and Art four days a week across relevant year groups
Deliver creative practical and theory‑based lessons in line with curriculum expectations
Support pupils in developing confidence, technical skill, and artistic understanding
Maintain a safe and well‑organised classroom or studio environment
Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Photography/Art Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Photography and/or Art
Confident delivering practical and technical skills safely and effectively
Strong behaviour and classroom management
Creative, organised, and able to motivate pupils of mixed abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
Dedicated to safeguarding and supporting pupil well‑being
