Are you a compassionate and skilled Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) teacher ready to make a significant impact in the lives of students facing unique challenges? A fantastic opportunity awaits for a Long-Term Supply EBD Teacher to join an esteemed school near the vibrant town of Bury St Edmunds.

The school is a special education provider for students with barriers to education. The School supports vulnerable young people with challenging behaviours to realise their full potential and provides the opportunity to progress into education, training and employment.

The Role:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviour, ensuring their inclusion in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and mutual respect.
  • Act as a positive role model for students, promoting appropriate behaviour and social skills.
  • Assist in the preparation and adaptation of teaching materials to meet diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Able to provide effective support and cater to the individual needs of the students.
