This school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their vibrant English department in September 2025 on a fixed-term basis for the Autumn Term 2025. This is an excellent short-term opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and supportive secondary school environment.

Duties as English Teacher:

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.

• Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback in line with school policies.

• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support achievement.

• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom and uphold the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.

Ideal English Teacher:

• Hold QTS and have experience teaching English at secondary level.

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.

• Be confident in managing behaviour and engaging students in their learning as an English Teacher.

• Be reliable, professional, and able to adapt quickly in a new setting.

• Work well as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
