We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a team for the 2025–2026 academic year. This fixed-term role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a sustained impact on students’ academic progress and love for English.

Duties as English Teacher:

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available depending on experience).

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with curriculum objectives.

• Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support progress.

• Monitor and track pupil attainment, implementing interventions when required.

• Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and whole-school literacy initiatives.

• Maintain a high standard of classroom behaviour and support a positive learning environment.

Ideal English Teacher:

• Hold QTS and have strong subject knowledge in English.

• Be confident, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

• Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills as an English Teacher.

• Be a collaborative team player who contributes to a supportive and dynamic department.
