English Teacher – Full-time, temporary role from as soon as possible until March 2026

Duties as English Teacher:
- Deliver engaging English lessons using prepared resources
- Teach across relevant year groups with no marking or planning required
- Support pupils in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive routines
- Adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative department environment
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of mixed abilities
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
