English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

Duties as English Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Ensure high-quality learning experiences that support student progress.
Use a range of assessment strategies to inform teaching and provide effective feedback.
Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.
Contribute to the wider life of the department where required.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuity of learning.

Ideal English Teacher:

Holds QTS and has strong subject knowledge in English.
Has experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
Demonstrates effective behaviour management and a positive classroom presence.
Shows commitment to supporting student progress throughout the placement.
Is adaptable, reliable, and able to integrate smoothly into an established team.
