English Teacher – Full-time, long-term from as soon as possible until July 2026

Duties as English Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Prepare students for assessments and examinations
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Promote literacy and a love of reading and writing
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum

Ideal English Teacher:

Holds QTS and has experience teaching English in secondary settings
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom management
Passionate about English literature and language
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Works well as part of a team and contributes to whole-school initiatives
