​Step Teachers are looking for an English Teacher to join a secondary school based in Enfield. This role will be commencing from September 2022 on a full-time basis. For the right candidate, the school will consider offering a permanent contract.

This school is an “Outstanding” Ofsted-rated school that has been praised for the outstanding leadership and high aspiration that the SLT have. The school's behaviour and safety within the school with the students having a deep, trusting working relationship with the staff. The role will require you to:

  • Have a strong curriculum knowledge from KS3 through to KS5

  • Have the ability to plan engaging, inspirational lessons across all abilities

  • Have the adaptability and suitability to fit in with a well-established team.

  • Set high standards and expectations for the achievements of all pupils.

Requirements

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • An undergraduate degree in English is desirable

  • Have recent experience teaching English
