Job description

English Teacher – Day-to-Day Supply, Starting Immediately
 
These flexible opportunities are ideal for English teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will work across multiple schools, providing day-to-day cover with the potential for longer-term or permanent roles.

Duties as English Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages
  • Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support pupils’ learning and progress during cover lessons
  • Provide feedback to school staff as required

Ideal English Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English across Key Stages is desirable
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service
