​Step Teachers are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher based in Hemel Hempstead starting in September 2022. This contract is initially temporary but with the potential of the role becoming permanent at the discretion of the school.

The position is at a primary school looking for a candidate who can make a real impact within their school. The role is at an established primary school which aims to create an environment to nurture confident and happy children.

Role:

  • Good knowledge of the curriculum in Key Stage 1

  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and resources

  • Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom

  • Ability to monitor students and provide support to them to reach their full potential

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons

  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and implement effectively 

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
