EYFS Teacher
Job description
EYFS Teacher – Full-time, temporary to permanent from January 2026

Duties as EYFS Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Ideal EYFS Teacher:
- Holds QTS and has experience teaching in Early Years settings
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Is passionate about supporting young learners and fostering curiosity
- Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with families
