Job description

​Step Teachers are working with a school in Haringey to secure a Food Technology Teacher to join their team in September 2022. This role is initially available for the first term, however, this may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The academy is a “Good” Ofsted rated school that prides itself on its students working directly with the academy in an active partnership to achieve excellence for themselves.

The role:

  • Strong knowledge of Food Technology up to KS5

  • Your lessons will be creative, varied, and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice

  • Willingness to comply with the school's policies and implement them effectively

The Food Technology Teacher requirements:

  • You will hold QTS or equivalent of

  • Holding a Food Technology/Technology related undergraduate is desirable

  • Experience teaching the UK Food Technology curriculum
