Foundation Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting September 2026

Pupils respond positively to purposeful teaching that promotes independence, communication, and strong early development.
Duties as Foundation Teacher:
- Teach Foundation Stage learners full time from September onwards
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with EYFS and early KS1 principles
- Support children’s development in early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills
- Maintain consistent routines and positive behaviour expectations
- Adapt teaching to support varied learning needs, including SEND
- Carry out observations, assessments, and progress tracking
- Work collaboratively with support staff and EYFS colleagues
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Foundation Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong Foundation/EYFS experience
- Confident planning and delivering early years learning
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Nurturing, proactive, and committed to high‑quality early learning
- Able to support a wide range of developmental needs
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting child well‑being
