Are you a versatile and dedicated teacher looking for a supply position? Step Teachers has joined forces with a 'Good' Ofsted-rated secondary school in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, to hire a General Cover Teacher to start in September 2024. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about providing high-quality education across a variety of subjects and grade levels.

Responsibilities of a General Cover Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons across various subjects.
  • Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all associated resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • As a General Cover Teacher, you should guarantee that the school's policies are followed and consistently implemented.

Requirements of a General Cover Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status(QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a General Cover Teacher/teaching.
  • As a General Cover Teacher you should have strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Good level of classroom and behaviour management.
