A school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic and committed General Science Teacher to join a Science department for the 2025–2026 academic year in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

• Teach General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (opportunities to teach a specialism at KS4/KS5 if suitable).

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' scientific knowledge and skills.

• Mark, assess, and provide feedback in line with school policies to support pupil progress.

• Monitor student attainment and contribute to intervention strategies as needed.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and schemes of work.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with a strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.

• Someone who can teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics confidently at KS3 and combined Science at KS4.

• A reflective and enthusiastic educator with strong behaviour management skills as a General Science Teacher.

• A team player who values collaboration and shares best practice.
